If it didnt constantly crash on my iPod 6 it would be great. Cant keep my shutter speed and adjust other settings, everything resets. New version is full of bugs.

... it also does not support hardware volume buttons/bluetooth shutter start... for me this is a deal breaker. Runs well on iOS9.3.2

Im not able to open it, I have no apps running in the background and Im using a 128gb 6s

Spent $15+ on this so I could use it with my zoom h5 mic, does not work.

I used this for professional work. It did not disappoint. I love what filmic is doing to the iPhone.

Amazing app besides that it randomly force closes when its open for a while. Idk if you guys can, but would it be possible to add a feature that lets us record with really flat colors?

App doesnt remember your recording settings at all, and save to camera roll is not the default setting. Ive lost so many videos from forgetting to switch that on each time I open the app. I used it for a few weeks and then got too frustrated, not worth the purchase since the app is so expensive.

This is the best app for any videographer. The devs seem to be very open to suggestions/feedbacks. Long live Filmic Pro!

I am unable to live without this app! And it just keeps getting better with every update, including specific features for use with the iPhone 7 Plus, the DJI Osmo Mobile and the Moondog anamorphic lens. At $13, this app is a real steal, and deserves way more than 5 stars!

Definitely has a lot of features, and nice it can control the DJI Osmo, but THIS THING CRASHES CONSTANTLY!!! Literally every second time I connect to the Osmo, the program automatically completely quits. Many times when I wake my phone up and that was the last app, or even switching back to the app, it often hangs on a black screen until you force quit. It rarely stays connected to the Osmo.. MANY times it just disconnects mid use, which SUCKS cause you press the record button on the Osmo thinking it started recording when it doesnt!!!!!!! The setting for "Lock Orientation" does not hold. Its annoying when it keeps rotating back and forth, and with the glitch in iOS where landscape often comes up on only half the screen for apps, then means you have to rotate often multiple times before is good. Not sure why this setting would just not work?! Video is set to save to camera roll (cause is MAJOR pain getting from the app otherwise), but many videos end up in the FilMic media library, not the phone, and then you have to move them. Related to previous point, trying to do anything with the video in the FilMic media library is PAINFUL, GOD SO PAINFUL!! When you go in to a video, it HANGS AND HANGS until "something" finishes loading in the background, then you can press the button to save to camera roll. The longer the video the worse it is, and can easily be MINUTES before it catches up! You cant switch out of the app or do anything else but put your phone down and go do something, then come back and do the next one, repeat!! Preview on Apple Watch is cool, but does not work very good at all!! Sticks on one frame, and can take a long time for preview to update to next frame, making it neat but VERY IMPRACTICAL for lining up a shot!! Lot of potential, but feels like Beta software!

Current version wont allow you to open the app. App wont open after last update. 5s running newest iOS. -Offloaded all my videos to iTunes. -Deleted the app and reinstalled -Closed all programs and reboot phone. Same thing; logo shows up for a few seconds and then app closes. ----- Otherwise long time fan. Still furious that you cant save stills from your videos by sliding frame by frame through the video. You can click a button while youre taking a video. USELESS! Or you can play the video, scrub to around the still frame, press play then pause then pay again or the GUI will stay and then as the video is playing you use the iPhone screenshot function to HOPE you get the frame. It used to have this feature. The camera app that comes with the phone has this feature! --- There were some other bugs or missing features that I cant think of right now. --- 5 star app, turned 4 star when they removed features i needed. 0 stars while I cant use it.

I have an Iphone and I cant film doing shallow depth of field. I bought it for tht sole reason. Doesnt work. It either blurs out the whole video and focuses on the whole video. I need shallow depth of field!!!

Great app, but its unfortunate that they dropped the ability to take snap photos while filming. It was a great feature.

The app keeps crashing when tapping in option icon same as the movie clip on iPhone 5 @7.0.4

The most heavy duty video capture on iPhone5s. 50mbits/sec bitrate recording with variable hiquality audio. Incredible quality no other video app comes close to this fidelity. This quality comes at the price of processing power, really need A7 chip and lots of juice.

Now imagine you are shooting a once-in-a-lifetime event and out of 27 files, TEN will later NOT be recognized by Final Cut Pro. All shot in the same hour with same settings and no change. 17 work, 10 are trash. That is not even worth 1 star for the crap app!

Theres not much else to say. Its packed with features to maximize the hardware capability of your camera and it works incredibly well. Videos turn out infinitely superior to those shot on the built in camera app. This app is a must.
